Operation method of manually starting diesel engine of crawler transport vehicle

(1) Preparation before starting:
① Comprehensive inspection of crawler transport vehicle: check the tightness of each fastener of diesel engine, turn the decompression handle to reduce the pressure of diesel engine or crank the crankshaft, check whether each moving part is stuck or has abnormal sound; loosen the decompression handle to crank the crankshaft to check whether the cylinder is leaking. The inspection method is: when you feel very strenuous to crank the crankshaft by hand, or even can't shake it, it means that the compression is normal and there is no leakage.
② Check the water in the water tank: add water until the red float head rises to the highest position. If it is in the cold winter, add 70~80℃ hot water slowly before starting to preheat the diesel engine. Use clean rainwater, snow water, pond water, river water or lake water that has been precipitated, and never use dirty or salty water.
③ Inspection of the fuel system of crawler transport vehicle: whether the fuel in the tank is full; whether the vent hole on the tank cover is blocked; whether there is oil leakage at each oil pipe and joint. Loosen the screws on the fuel injection pump oil pipe to remove the air in the low-pressure oil circuit; pull up the pressure relief handle, turn the refueling handle to the 1/2 position, crank the crankshaft, and hear a crisp oil injection sound.
④ Inspection of the lubrication system of the crawler transporter: Pull out the oil dipstick on the crankcase and check the oil storage amount. The oil mark on the oil dipstick should be between the ? scale lines; Check whether there is oil leakage in the oil pipes and joints; pull up the pressure relief handle and turn the crankshaft to observe whether the oil indicator valve rises. If it does not rise or there is leakage, find the cause and eliminate the fault.
⑥ The crawler transporter puts the gear lever in the neutral position.
(2) Starting steps:
① The crawler transporter turns the speed control handle to the "oil supply" position.
