Excavator safety operating procedures and precautions

1. When the excavator is working, it should be parked on a flat ground and the crawler walking mechanism should be braked.
2. No obstacles such as machinery should be piled on the excavator channel.
3. No one is allowed to stay within the working range of the excavator. 】

4. If underground cables, pipelines or other underground buildings are found during the operation of the excavator, the work should be stopped immediately and the relevant units should be notified immediately for handling.
5. When the excavator is working, it should wait for the driver to brake the car to stop before turning the soil into the car. When turning, the bucket is prohibited from crossing over the cab. When unloading the soil, the bucket should be lowered as much as possible, and be careful not to hit any part of the car.
6. During operation, the shovel should not be too deep, and the bucket should not be lifted too hard. The digging height at one time should not be higher than 4 meters.
7. When the shovel is working, no one is allowed to stay or work under the suspended bucket.
8. The bucket should not be suspended when the excavator stops working. The driver's feet must not leave the pedals.
9. When the bucket is fully loaded, the inclination of the boom must not be changed.
10. During the excavation process, the "four prohibitions" should be implemented:
① It is prohibited to rotate the bucket before it leaves the working surface.
② It is prohibited to rotate sharply.
③ It is prohibited to scrape the soil pile with the side of the bucket.
④ It is prohibited to use the bucket to impact the working surface from the side.
11. The rotation range of the excavator boom should be controlled within 45°--60°, and the inclination angle should be controlled between 30°--45°.
12. When the excavator is traveling uphill, the crawler driving wheel should be at the back, and when going downhill, the crawler driving wheel should be in front and the boom should be at the back. The boom is parallel to the crawler. The slewing mechanism should be in a braking state, and the bucket should not be more than 1 meter from the ground. The uphill and downhill should not exceed 20°, and the downhill should be slow, and the speed change is prohibited.
13. It is forbidden to arrange the excavator in the upper and lower mining sections (surfaces) for simultaneous operation; when the working surface rotates at the same time, a flat ground should be selected and obstacles in the passage should be removed. If moving on soft ground, square wood must be placed under the walking device.
14. It is forbidden to work under high-altitude erected objects such as electric wires, and it is not allowed to work under the parking machine. The fully loaded bucket is not allowed to stay in the space for a long time.
15. When the excavator needs to stop on a slope, the bucket must be lowered to the ground, all control levers are placed in the middle position, the parking brake is applied, and wedges should be placed behind the crawler or tire.
