2. Use of gearbox

3. Torque converter, gearbox.

How is the clutch protected?

What is the cause of simple damage to the clutch separate bearing? In practical experience, although the driver has been strictly required to give the separated bearing oil once a day, this is not only cumbersome operation, and the bearing is still often damaged. After analysis, because the high temperature of the engine is transmitted to the separated bearing, coupled with the high temperature of the bearing high-speed rotation, the smooth oil is difficult to remain in the bearing under such conditions, the bearing is continuously operated at high temperature, and because the smooth conditions are not good, and then the separation bearing is prone to frequent damage.
First, the oil injection method in the engine does not collapse: First open the clutch cover, observe the wear condition of the separated bearing, if it is admitted that the bearing is not damaged or the wear is not exceeding the limit, remove the clutch pedal, adjust the connecting rod shaft pin, so that the separated bearing and its seat back to the rear position, use the needle nozzle butter gun to fill the hole of the bearing seat with butter until the bearing has oil overflow, and then slightly change the bearing, fill the oil again, repeat the above operations, Until there is a small amount of butter around the bearing, and then make the bearing change, investigate the amount of oil, if you feel the bearing change resistance, prove that the bearing has been filled with butter. Then remove the small amount of butter spilled all over the bearing seat, and assemble the removed dowel and clutch cover from scratch.
Second, the engine collapse of the oil injection method will reveal the engine collapse of the assembly of the separate bearing and bearing seat, with the needle nozzle butter gun to the small oil hole under the inner ring of the separate bearing seat, when the bearing has butter overflow, change the bearing until the bearing has butter overflow in one circle.
Hydraulic clutch modification method
Some cars will get heavier and heavier after driving for a period of time, and even crack the pedal support, and the problem is generally on the clutch pull line.
The solution to the bottom cutting is to replace the clutch line with a hydraulic transmission, which can refer to the practice of Elantra: The foot pedal is used to drive a master pump, a sub-pump is installed using the screws which originally fixed the clutch line. The two are connected by a hard tube. The sub-pump pulls the original pull arm of the clutch through a small section of steel cable to make a quasi-hydraulic clutch (the real hydraulic clutch's sub-pump is directly driven by the pressure disc).
Before the car is successfully modified hydraulic, it is still necessary to use the maintenance of the clutch line, the old four-cylinder car line to remove the whole maintenance is more troublesome, the method I use is relatively simple, only remove the bottom of the car (be careful not to remove the dust jacket), first use kerosene or diesel or WD-40 to clean the end. Then take the top with a small wire hanging on the open front cover (the higher the better), turn the nut of the original fixed line half, drop kerosene or diesel in it, pull the core repeatedly, let the oil mixed in, put a carton on the floor under the foot pedal, until there is oil with rust dripping out, and then change the oil or gear oil on the top, to the foot that drops the clear oil. (About 20 minutes), reinstall the wire, and then press the clutch much lighter.
For the new line, it is much simpler, because the pedal is high, drip oil at that end, repeatedly step on the clutch pedal, see the other end of the oil flow is done. No need to remove the wire, at most pull the dust jacket of the wire. The oil used should not be too thin. I have compared it and recommend using Shell Vidali 150# mechanical oil, but it is also OK to use our car oil or gear oil.
