Rated load and tipping load of skid steer loaders
Posted: Dec 19th, '24, 21:59
Rated load and tipping load are two important parameters of skid steer loaders. Rated load refers to the test conducted by an operator weighing 175 pounds using a standard bucket under normal wheel pressure on a hard and flat ground according to the J732 clause of the US SAE.
Tipping load refers to the minimum load when the bucket is lifted to the farthest distance from the fuselage and the rear wheels leave the ground.
Lifting method
There are two lifting methods for skid steer loaders, arc lifting and vertical lifting. The highest lifting height of the arc lifting equipment is in the middle of the lifting path, so these equipment are more suitable for medium and low height work such as loading low-position funnels or mobile sprayers. The lifting height of the vertical lifting equipment can reach the highest point of the lifting path, which is suitable for loading places with higher heights such as trucks.
Hydraulic drive
The working device of the skid steer loader adopts hydraulic transmission. Except for very few models that use belt drive or chain drive, the travel drive system of the skid steer loader adopts a full hydraulic solution dual-circuit closed system, a swash plate type two-way variable pump, and a bevel shaft type high-speed motor.
