This is how you use the crushing hammer

Crushing hammer is one of the most commonly used accessories of excavators, which often needs crushing operations in demolition, mining and urban construction. If the crushing hammer is not used correctly, it will not only delay the construction period, but also easily break the crushing hammer. So, how should the crushing hammer be used?

1 The drill rod should be as vertical as possible with the surface of the broken material, and it is strictly prohibited to play the horizontal level at a large Angle. Otherwise, it will cause strain of cylinder and damage of drill rod and piston.

2 It is strictly prohibited to pry apart the broken objects by shaking the hammer drill rod during the crushing operation. It is easy to damage the drill rod and the front cylinder parts by the broken objects passing through the drill rod.

3 Do not use the crushing hammer to sweep/dig the material, so as not to cause the fracture of the drill rod, abnormal wear of the shell and cylinder body and shorten the service life.

4 When operating, be sure to compact the drill rod, otherwise it will produce empty, resulting in damage to the internal parts.

5 Do not strike continuously in the same place during operation, if it cannot be broken within one minute, please change the position to avoid damage to the drill rod and internal components.

6 When the broken material is hard and large, it must be segmented and gradually broken so that it is easier to break the large pieces of broken material and the work efficiency is higher.

7 Do not hit the oil cylinder at the end of the stroke, please keep more than 100mm room, otherwise it will cause damage to the oil cylinder.

8 Do not use it for underwater operations. Use professional equipment for underwater operations.

9 When lubricating the hammer , be sure to press the drill rod tightly. Beat 15-20 times every two hours to prevent grease from entering the striking chamber, damaging the hydraulic system of the crusher and causing contamination.

10 Check before each work
(1) Whether the nut is loose
(2) Whether there is oil leakage
(3) Whether the hydraulic oil is dirty and the amount of oil is sufficient
(4) Whether the hydraulic hose is damaged
(5) Whether the pin and plug are tight in place, and whether the flat pin should be replaced
(6) Whether the drill rod and the piston hitting head are damaged
(7) Check the pressure of the nitrogen chamber every two weeks and the pressure of the accumulator every month

11 The gap between the drill rod and the front bushing is too large, which is easy to cause the piston and the drill rod to wear off, resulting in uneven contact, causing damage to the piston and the drill rod. The specific replacement standard is as above.

12 If the crushing hammer is not suitable for more than one week, please keep it in the following way:
(1) The hose hard pipe must be installed with a plug
(2) Release nitrogen from the nitrogen chamber
(3) Remove the drill rod
(4) Use a round rod to align the piston against the end face and knock the piston back with a hammer ; Add more grease to the front head of piston
(5) In order to protect the crusher, please place it indoors, or on the sleeper, and cover it with tarpaulin (to prevent rain).
(6) Oil seal replacement cycle is 3 months or 500 hours (whichever comes first)
