Tips for standard operation of excavators

1 Before the bucket leaves the ground, you cannot do the next step such as rotation and walking, and you must complete it step by step.

2 When the excavator is working, it is strictly forbidden to carry out repairs, maintenance, tightening and other work at the same time. If abnormal noise, odor, excessive temperature rise, etc. occur during work, you should stop and check immediately

3 When the excavator rotates, the slewing clutch should be used in conjunction with the slewing mechanism brake for smooth rotation. Sudden actions such as sharp rotation and emergency braking are strictly prohibited.

4 When the crawler excavator moves, the boom should be placed in the forward direction of walking, and the bucket should not exceed 1 meter from the ground.

5 When the excavator goes uphill, the drive wheel should be at the back and the boom should be at the top; when the excavator goes downhill, the drive wheel should be in front and the boom should be at the back. When going downhill, you should drive slowly and evenly, and no speed change is allowed on the way.

6 When the top pulley of the boom is maintained, inspected, lubricated, or replaced, the boom should be dropped to the ground.

7 When digging, do not dig too deep each time, and do not lift the bucket too hard to avoid damaging the machine or causing an overturning accident. When the bucket falls, be careful not to do it too fast to avoid causing the lower frame to be unstable and the whole machine to shake back and forth.

8 The excavator should not turn too quickly when walking. If the curve is too large, it should turn in batches and proceed step by step.

9 Personnel who cooperate with the excavator to clean the bottom, level, and repair the slope must work outside the excavator's turning radius. If it is necessary to work within the excavator's turning radius, the excavator must stop turning and turn off the pilot switch before working. At the same time, the personnel on and off the machine must cooperate closely to ensure safety.

10 When the operator is operating, he must wear a seat belt and a helmet. At the same time, he must stay focused during operation and not do things that distract his attention, such as answering calls, eating, etc.

11 Vehicles and pedestrians are not allowed to stay within the loading range of the excavator. When unloading materials onto a truck, the bucket can only be rotated and unloaded onto the truck after the truck has stopped and the driver has left the cab. When the excavator is rotating, the bucket should be prevented from passing over the top of the cab. When unloading materials, the bucket should be lowered as much as possible, but be careful not to collide with any part of the truck.
