4 Tips for reducing maintenance rates in winter slip loader operations

Post by DIG-DOG »

01 Fully preheat before starting

Before winter operation, the engine should run at a low speed for 5 minutes, during the preheating process, the machine should check whether the installed oil leakage, oil warning light is off, charging indicator light is off, the sound of the engine and exhaust color is normal, and whether all parts of the machine are abnormal. After the engine is preheated, the hydraulic device should be preheated by operating the slip loader for various slow actions to prevent damage to the hydraulic device caused by rapid operation.

02 Replace diesel and oil

In winter, when the temperature around the sliding loaderbecomes low, the viscosity of various oils in the fuselage will increase, and the loaderwill become difficult to start. At this time, the operator should choose light diesel with low freezing point and good ignition performance and replace the oil with a higher label.

03 Pay attention to the storage capacity of the installed battery

The lower the ambient temperature, the lower the storage capacity of the slip loaderbattery, and attention should be paid to keeping the slip loader battery warm. There are several methods can be used for reference: first, prepare a quilt to cover the battery location to keep it warm; The second is to directly remove the battery from the fuselage and store it in a warm room, and then install it when used.

04 Cooling water should be discharged in time

When antifreeze is added to the cooling system of the slip loaderin winter, it is added in proportion to the lowest temperature. If the installation needs to be parked for a period of time, pay attention to empty the cooling water in the engine at this time. When discharging water, the machine should run at idle speed before quenching, and then turn off the water when the cooling water temperature drops below 60℃. Pay attention to be sure to completely discharge the remaining water in the body, so as not to freeze and expand, so as to crack the body.
